Cookies
Cookie notice
One optional set of cookies, for Google Analytics, and only if you say yes. No advertising cookies, ever.
In short
The site works fully without any optional cookies. If you choose “Accept”, Google Analytics sets the cookies listed below so we can see which pages are useful. If you choose “Reject”, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Google Analytics script is never loaded and nothing is sent to Google. Both buttons are equally easy to use and the choice can be changed at any time.
There is no advertising pixel, no social embed, no session recording and no third-party tag manager. Fonts are self-hosted.
Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cdx-consent | Local storage, first party | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every page. | 12 months | Strictly necessary |
_ga | Cookie, first party, set by Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors with a random identifier, to count returning visits. | Up to 2 years | Consent |
_ga_<container-id> | Cookie, first party, set by Google Analytics | Keeps session state, so pages viewed in one visit are counted as one session. | Up to 2 years | Consent |
Changing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent stops analytics immediately and deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. Your choice is asked again after 12 months, or sooner if what we use changes.
Under the ePrivacy Directive (in Portugal, Lei n.º 41/2004) and the UK PECR, consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary. The only storage we use without asking is the record of your choice itself.
